The day opened with a welcome address and keynote that set the stage for a forward-looking program. Complementing this, Dr. Jamshaid Ashraf discussed Agentic AI for Enterprises, emphasizing the role of autonomous AI agents in streamlining processes and enhancing customer service.

A highlight of the event was the client case study presented by Mishal O. M. AlMana, Head of Strategy & Digital Transformation at GIG Takaful and Board Advisor at GIG Kuwait Group. With more than 28 years of leadership experience across banking, telecommunications, and insurance, Mishal has spearheaded groundbreaking innovations, including the MENA region’s first e-wallet and mobile banking solutions.

In his session, he shared GIG Takaful’s digital transformation journey with DPS and Liferay, outlining key lessons from their innovation initiatives and demonstrating the tangible impact of AI-powered solutions on customer engagement and operational efficiency.
