Originally implemented in 2019, the system is now undergoing a technology upgrade to align with evolving government requirements, ensuring scalability, security, and modernization. Built using Liferay DXP, the solution ensures flexibility, scalability, and seamless integration with other government systems.
Digital Processing Systems (DPS) implemented the Tax Services System (TSS) as a comprehensive solution that provides end-to-end tax services for individuals and businesses. The platform supports online registration, certificate issuance, and secure payment processing, simplifying the tax filing process for users and improving operational efficiency for MOF staff.
The system integrates with various government systems such as KITAS, Tasdeed Payment Gateway, and MOFA, ensuring seamless service delivery and compliance with regulatory requirements. It features workflow automation for internal approvals and reporting and analytics dashboards for enhanced visibility and decision-making.
Built using Liferay DXP, the solution offers flexibility, ease of integration, and scalability, meeting the evolving needs of MOF. The enhanced TSS system has streamlined tax services, reduced manual paperwork, and improved user adoption, serving over 23,000 users. It supports MOF’s mission of ensuring transparent, secure, and efficient public finance management.
